The Accessory Nerve is a slightly more bizarre Bluetooth accessory from CuteCircuit. It's a single sleeve that reacts to an incoming mobile phone call by creating pleats in the fabric. The wearer is supposed to be able to determine the identity of the caller depending on the pattern of the pleats.
The mobile phone communicates to the Accessory Nerve via Bluetooth telling it which pattern of pleats to adopt. Should the user be busy, they can smooth the pleats thereby telling the mobile phone to transmit a text message saying "I'll call you back later". Other messages are also possible allowing users to exchange information and greetings in a subtle and intimate manner according to CuteCircuit.
